Let's start with Diva, the Norwegian duo of Helene Sommer and Elene Nyborg, and their euro-house/trance remake of A-Ha's hit. They did release a couple other singles, "Stand And Deliver" and "Everybody (Move Your Body)", but this was their biggest hit. Helene seems to still be making music and has her own Myspace site. ReplyDeleteThey're Norwegian, from the city Drammen. But saying they're Swedish is close enough although I agree with !'s point about it being the same thing as saying Deborah Cox is American, when she's actually Canadian.

I love their version so much, it's such an avalanche. More Than This was less good, but I think - even though it flopped - it was 'around' in the UK music channels for a while (it was certainly in my concious anyway).
